The province is outting $3.8 million into doubling the surgical capacity of Hants Community Hospital in Windsor.
The current operating room will be upgraded and a second unused operating room will be renovated. But it’ll mean closing them for four months beginning in August and moving six surgical staff to other hospitals. 180 surgeries will also be moved.
