A Windsor teen has now been charged after that incident in the parking lot of Avon View High School Tuesday.

The 18 year old has been charged with criminal negligence and dangerous driving after a 17 year old boy was left pinned under a car.  His injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.  Both are students there.

Police are still trying to determine just what happened.  There was apparently no altercation between the two before it happened.

One woman was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation and five other people were forced out of their homes because of a fire in an apartment house in Yarmouth.

There was fire damage to one unit and smoke and water to the other three in the building.

The Red cross is helping tenants with emergency accomodations and supplies.
