The collaborative emergency centre at Annapolis Community Health Centre in Annapolis Royal is closed today until 8:30pm due to nurse availibility.

Fire fighters battle a blaze on Mount Hanley Road yesterday.

Nobody was hurt but the home was destroyed.  It apparently started with sparks from the chimney landing on the cedar shingles on the roof.
