Seven people have been displaced by fire in Bridgetown. A Granville Street house with five apartments went ablaze around 4:30, suffering extensive damage. The Red Cross is helping tenants.

A Rockland man got jail time and restitution for stealing money from NAPA Auto Parts – Excel Auto Supply in Berwick. 49-year-old Gregory Earl MacDonald had pleaded guilty to theft over $5000, and will serve 18 months in jail and two years’ probation.
