The trial of a Tantallon doctor in Bridgewater resumed yesterday with a local phamacy manager testifying.
Dr. Sarah Jones is still on trial on fraud charges after drug trafficking charges were withdrawn by the crown because the judge didn’t allow certain evidence.
26-year-old Meghan Elizabeth Nowe of Liverpool has been charged with manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death after her younger sister died near the end of April.
She remains in custody for a show cause hearing, which is expected to be held today (June 13).
It’s alleged that Meghan Nowe gave Allison Nowe methadone, which police say caused the death of the 22-year-old Bridgewater woman.
