Global Pet Foods of New Minas recently raised over $2,000 for the Kings County SPCA’s feral cat sanctuary.

The feral cat sanctuary is a 1.25 acre enclosed forest, serving as a lifelong natural environment for feral cats.

The Kings SPCA is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

It’s open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. from Friday to Sunday, closed on Mondays.

This Saturday, the grand opening of the Horton Ridge Malt House starts at 11 in the morning.

There will be a number of Nova Scotia craft beers on tap, including some produced in house, and the Let’s Eat Beer food truck will also be there.
