64 year old Michael John Stevens of Greenwood will go to trial this fall after pleading not guilty to charges of sexual assault and committing an indecent act.
He’s accused of masturbating in front of a woman in Greenwood between January 15th and March 31th.
A broadcast ban regarding her name is in effect to protect the identity of the alleged victim.
A thyroid clinic has been shut down in Digby and its patients are wondering why.
Dr. Ronald Matsusaki got a cease and desist letter from the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
The clinic ran on Wednesdays out of the Digby General Hospital and treated about 250 people.
20 patients have formed a group to find answers on the issue.
It will hold a meeting on Tuesday June 27th at 6 p.m. at the Digby Library.
