West Nova MP Colin Fraser says federal taxpayer’s will fork over $253,000 for a number of community projects celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday.

The recipients are the Fédération régionale des arts et du patrimoine de la Baie-Sainte-Marie, the Tri-County Women’s Centre; the Digby Disabilities Partnership Committee, the Kespu’kwitk Métis Council; and the West Dalhousie Community Hall Association.

The walk-in clinic at Eastern Kings Memorial in Wolfville will be closed on Sundays for the summer, starting this Sunday.  The clinic for people with non-urgent health concerns is open Mondays to Fridays from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with regular Sunday hours resuming September 10th.
