Teens arrested after hospital scare

Two teens were arrested yesterday after allegedly causing a disruption at a Halifax hospital.

Police say two boys walked into the Centennial Building yelling and swearing and making a reference to getting explosives. The building was searched and nothing suspicious was found.

Two 17 year olds were arrested later on Coburg Road.

Province buys new Lifeflight helicopters

The province has now bought two new Lifeflight helicopters.

It has a deal for two Sikorsky 76C+ air ambulances.  They should be flying by August. They are approved to land on hospital roofs. EHS says transport times to get patients to hospital will be reduced 10 to 25 minutes.
