Police continue to investigate the discovery of a man’s body under heavy snow beside his truck…but don’t suspect foiul play.
They found the 66 year old man’s body Sunday afternoon not long after beginning a search for him after family reported him missing in the Huntington area of CBRM. The body was sent to Halifax for an autopsy.
RCMP stopped to help a car that had slid off the highway into a ditch on the weekend, although the occupants wish they hadn’t.
Officers who stopped to help in Kemptown spotted suspicious packages which turned out to be 6.8 kilograms of cocaine. They also say the driver’s license was suspended and both the man and woman from Moncton had outstanding warrants. So they are cooling their heels in the lockup now.
