A 20 year old woman was killed yesterday when she was hit by a CN train on tracks near Rocky Lake Drive and the Bedford Highway. No name will be released.
The woman was dead when emergency crews arrived on scene. The investigation continues with the assistance of CN police and the Transportation Safety Board has been notified.
The jury will resume deliberations this morning in the first degree murder trial of William Sandeson.
They were sequestered for the night after a couple of hours of deliberations yesterday afternoon following the judge’s instruction.
Supreme Court Justice Josh Arnold told jurors they should come to a verdict without sympathy, prejudice or fear…that they should keep an open mind but not an empty head.
