A couple from Ontario has been charged with stealing several vehicles around the province.

37 year old Cory Lee Oickle and 27 year old Taylor Erin Burgess, both from Windsor, Ontario, were arrested in Bridgewater last Thursday. Police have now charged the pair with stealing cars in Liverpool, New Germany, Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester and Tantallon as well as Guysborough and Antigonish counties…and more charges are pending.

Nobody was hurt when the ceiling of the liquor store in Wolfville collapsed yesterday afternoon.

There were creaking and cracking sounds heard initially and staff rushed customers out of the store…then about three-quarters of the celing came down.

The store remains closed for now as various investigations are underway by the NSLC as well as Occupational Health and Safety officers.
