The province is suspending all student assessments until further notice. School boards will also suspend board level assessments and reporting requirements. These issues will be referred to the Partnership on Systemic Working Conditions to determine which assessments should continue, whether data entry and reporting are necessary, and which assessments are of greatest benefit to student learning and accountability.

Centre Plan community conversations being held this month
The municipality’s Planning and Development team is inviting residents to join them at one of the upcoming community conversations being hosted as part of the ongoing Centre Plan public engagement and consultation process.
The meetings will focus on discussing how the draft Centre Plan will affect future development within the Regional Centre. Residents are invited to community events this month in Dartmouth and Halifax, with the draft plan available for comments until early December. Get event dates and more at centreplan.ca.
