A woman was ticketed for an unsafe lane change after a vehicle/cyclist collision Friday morning in Halifax. Police responded around 8, when a woman riding a bike was hit while in the bike lane on Bell Road by a vehicle going that way, then turning onto Summer Street. The cyclist went to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

NS schools to reopen tomorrow
Schools will reopen tomorrow. Education Minister Karen Casey says the province and teachers union have agreed on parts of the work-to-rule job action that created concern for student safety. Legislation to impose a contract on Nova Scotia teachers was put off this morning.
