A 10 year old girl died aboard an Air Canada flight Chriostmas Eve. The Toronto to London flight was diverted to Shannon Ireland after the girl suffered some kind of medical problem. Canadian consular officials are helping the family which has asked for privacy.

Pileups in Toronto
There were a couple of multi-vehicle accidents on icy highways around Toronto yesterday.
At least 15 people were taken to hospital from one west of Toronto when a dozen vehicles slid into each other. The injuries were all minor.
About an hour before that, seven vehicles piled up on another highway injuries 5 people…again none injured too seriously.
