No one was hurt in a fire early this morning in Greenwood.
The flames started in a garage of a house in the River Ridge Subdivision, according to the Kings County Register. The homeowner and neighbours poured water on the fire with garden hoses until fire fighters arrived and kept damage down, although there was some damage to the attic.
The cause is under investigation.
Ottawa has identified the Canadian killed in a terrorist attack in Turkey as Alaa Al-Muhandis.
The 29 year old is reportedly survived by her husband and two children in Milton, Ontario.
In a statement, Prime Minister Trudeau said Canada grieves the senseless loss of a Canadian citizen and remains steadfast in its determination to work with allies and partners to fight terrorism.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack and the search continues for the gunman.
