Nobody was injured in the fire bombing of a house in the west end late last night.
Police say a man in a white car pulled up outside a house on Chebucto Road near Quinn Street around 11:30 and threw a Molotov cocktail at the house. The family, including two children, was able to escape unhurt.
Grief counsellors will be at Memorial Composite High in Sydney Mines today after the death of a student last week.
15 year old Kobe Clarence Pink’s body was found on a beach New Year’s Day after he went missing from a party last Wednesday night.
SIRT has been called in to handle the investigation because police went to the party on Peck Street following a complaint. There were 30-40 people at the party and many scattered when police arrived.
A autopsy is underway into the cause of death…but it is not considered suspicious.
