Suspended sentence after fight with father

A Squaw Cap man got a year-long suspended sentence with probation for a fight with his father. 36-year-old James Alexander Archibald admitted to grabbing his father’s throat last July while they argued. He was confronted about taking his father’s vehicle and not refilling the tank. The sentence was a joint recommendation.

Guilty to 30 charges

A Campbellton-area man has pleaded guilty to 30 charges.  26-year-old Ryan Wambolt faced property, fraud, drug and breach of probation charges among them.  He was serving time for break-and-enters already, and was set to be released when these new charges came up.  He’ll be sentenced April 3rd.
