A St-Quentin man got a week in jail for hunting moose out of season. 24-year-old Billy Theriault admitted to the October 2014 incident, and was also fined $1200. He can serve his jail time on weekends.

Assault sentence
An Eel River Bar woman has been sentenced for assault causing bodily harm. 46-year-old Lori Marie Labillois was charged after a November 2015 fight. She was given five months’ house arrest and a four-month curfew, plus 18 months’ probation.
