Following the death of 48-year-old Denis LeBlanc of Val d’Amour in August of 2015, 35 year old Steve Levesque of no fixed address; was charged with second-degree murder.

On Monday, Levesque pleaded guilty to manslaughter and other charges, and will be sentenced on April 7th.

24 year old Pierre Michael Ferlatte of Campbellton, who was caught for impaired driving last year will be busy over the next few months serving a jail sentence on the weekends.

As it was his second offence, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
