A Beresford man is on a motorcycle road trip to all 30 NHL arenas. Retiree Jean-Luc Fortin left on the 7th and went to Boston, and told the Northern Light he was in Florida yesterday. Since the playoffs are on and some teams are out, his plan is to at least get a puck from and picture in front of each arena.

Concerns about the rail line that runs through Campbellton, Dalhousie; Bathurst, and Miramichi
Port of Belledune officials are worried about a clause that allows CN to abandon the rail line that runs through Campbellton, Dalhousie; Bathurst, and Miramichi if freight levels continue to decline.
However, they add that they are hopeful that new clients can be found to secure the rail lines long-term future.
The Port of Belledune relies on having access to that rail line to quickly move goods in and out of the port.
