A Restigouche County man has been jailed for 18 months for a knife attack on another man. 39-year-old Yngvey Furlotte had pleaded guilty to aggravated assault causing bodily harm and other charges from previous incidents. He was arrested for the assault back in October.

Vitalité Health Network comments
Vitalité Health Network CEO Gilles Lanteigne recently updated the board on the government’s plan to privatize some non-clinical services.
Vitalité is against that plan, as they believe they can provide these services cheaper and more efficiently than private operator Sodexo; regarding cleaning and food services.
Vitalité operates hospitals in Campbellton, Dalhousie; Bathurst, and Tracadie-Sheila.
