The Council of Eel River Crossing has launched a contest for a new slogan, and survey for a new name. You can submit anything for a new slogan, but the new-name choices are Village of Eel River Crossing, Village of Eel River Dundee and Village of Dundee Eel River. Morning accident still being investigated
Yesterday morning’s accident on Route 11 east of Campbellton is still being investigated. A pickup went off the road around 11:30, rolling several times into the ditch. The driver is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries, and police haven’t said if he’ll be charged with anything.
