18 year old Madelynn Carter has been selected as the Amherst youth volunteer honouree.
The ARHS student is involved with the youth town council, and Tantramar theatre society events.
Next year, she’s going to Dalhousie University to study medical sciences.
Tomorrow (Friday) at 7 p.m., the annual general meeting and election of officers will take place at the Air Force Association of Canada on Havelock Street.
In addition, on Sunday; April 30th, from 4 til 6 p.m., a roast turkey dinner will be served at the Air Force Association of Canada. It’s 13 dollars per person, and take out will be available.
