An Amherst man has been sentenced for marijuana possession. 21-year-old Adam Joseph Bowser got a conditional discharge and $100 fine. He admitted to the incident, which happened in February 2016.

The South Cumberland ER in Parrsboro is closed until 8:30 tonight due to a doctor shortage. It’ll also be closed 8:30am-8:30pm tomorrow and Friday, but now will be open during the day Saturday and Sunday.
