Election day is 7 days away, but you don’t have to wait until then to vote.
Elections Nova Scotia says you can cast your vote in advance at your local returning office, on any day except Sunday May 28th.
The offices are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., but have extended hours this coming Thursday and Friday nights when they will be open until 8 p.m.
Today in Cumberland County, the municipal offices will be moving from the former Springhill Town Hall to the Dr. Carson and Marion Murray Community Center.
All tax payments, water bills; permits and general inquiries will now be processed there from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Community Services and Probation Services on Thursdays remain the same, and the Springhill RCMP hours and operations are unchanged.
