A broken water filter canister caused some minor flooding at the Cumberland Regional Hospital, which cancelled some surgeries and endoscopies yesterday and Monday.
They will be re-booked.
There was some minor damage to the laboratory collection and ambulatory care departments on the first floor.
Springhill is getting ready for summer. Thursday June 1st will be a community clean up day, a barbecue; and a farmer’s market at the Dr. Carson and Marion Murray Community Centre. The Springhill Leisure Services will offer bags and gloves for you to use.
On Friday June 9th, the Trail Flow Outdoor Adventure will bring their portable bike park to Springhill. If the weather is bad, it will be moved inside the Richard Calder Arena.
Springhill will host the Great Benjamins Circus on Tuesday June 13th at the Dr. Carson and Marion Murray Community Centre. For more, go to benjaminscircus.com
