Murder charge laid in South Rawdon fire

An Upper Sackville man has now been charged with murder in the death of a woman in a fire in South Rawdon in April.

The body of 27 year old Laura Ross was found in the ruins of a shed by a house on South Rawdon Road. An investigation determined the fire had been deliberately set and ruled it a homicide.

Yesterday, RCMP took 27 year old Joshua Eric Crowell of Upper Sackville to court on a charge of second degree murder. They say he knew Ross but didn’t comment on their relationship.
