A soccer field near Bujold and Chaleur Streets in Dalhousie may be given for free to the Dalhousie Nursing Home, under the condition that it be developed into about 20 residential units for older people.
Dalhousie drew up a plan this year in which it would give away any listed, town-owned land for free; for development.
That’s because over the last decade, the town lost all of its industrial tax base.
