Community members are stepping up to help a man whose home in Stanley was destroyed by fire last week.
The 66 year old man made it out of his house unharmed but he lost his home and everything in it.
The Red Cross provided emergency assistance to the man and also reached out to the non-profit group Big Hearts Small City. Founder Jason Surette says the organization put out a request on Facebook for building supplies, and received the donation of a mini-home.
