Tyler Noel sentencing

20 year old Tyler Noel will have to serve at least 16 years of his life sentence before he’s eligible for parole.

Noel pleaded guilty to second degree murder in killing Baylie Wylie and setting fire to a unit in a triplex in Moncton just before Christmas of 2015. Wylie had been beaten and stabbed over a hundred times.

Devin Morningstar is already serving a life sentence with no parole for 25 years after being found guilty of first degree murder. Marissa Shephard is in custody awaiting trial in February on murder and arson charges.
