Premier Stephen McNeil says the government is not yet ready to call a public inquiry into the triple murder-suicide case involving Lionel Desmnond.
Calling it a tragic event, McNeil said Health Authority officials will meet with Desmond’s family next week to share the findings of a confidential review into how the health-care system dealt with the former soldier. He says no further steps will be taken until after the family and the medical examiner are briefed.
