A former daycare operator in Harvey Station has been sent for a psychiatric assessment on her fitness to stand trial.
33 year old Mary Jana McCormack was due to go to trial yesterday on eight charges of assault involving six different children at her former daycare. Her lawyer requested a mental health assessment…and the judge granted it. McCormack will return to court July 20.
