Lorneville Mechanical has announced it has won a major contract with the Irving Refinery thanks to the city’s new barge terminal.
The company will build sections of a new gasoline processing unit to be installed next year at the refinery and it will be the first time the barge facility will be used.
Lois Vincent, president of the Spruce Lake Industrial Park, was relieved the hear the news, telling CBC when you’re looking at a project that costs $7.5 million, in the back of your mind you’re always wondering what if I’m wrong…but she said this contract shows they were right.
