A parliamentary committee will reportedly call for an internet tax to boost the media industry in Canada.
The Globe and Mail reports the 5% levy will be proposed today by the Canadian Heritage Committee. It would add hundreds of millions of dollars to the Canadian Media Fund, which already receives a levy from your cable bill.
