On the diamonds…the Fisher Cats lost 6-1 to the Fredericton Royals.
In the majors…the Blue Jays shut down Seattle 4-0. Red Sox lost 8-3 to the Tigers. Yankees took the Orioles apart 14-3.
On the gridiron…the Stampeders beat Edmonton 36-35.
