Complaint filed about racial slur in Dieppe

A soldier and part-time taxi driver says he wasn’t prepared for what he heard from a Burger King employee in Dieppe.

Ronald Delice says he hears racial slurs in his cab all the time…but didn’t expect to hear it from an employee of a fast food restaurant on Paul Street May 28th as he was driving customers through the druve-thru.

Delice got out of the cab to talk to the employee, asking how he could have that mindset in 2017. He has filed a complaint with the provincial human rights commission.

The employee was fired the next day…and the restaurant owner talked to the rest of her staff. She reached out to the Delice family but heĀ  says he wants to hear an apology first hand.
