The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Barrington and Prince Streets will experience partial closures to motor vehicle, cyclist and pedestrian traffic to facilitate a crane removal from 1657 Barrington Street, the Roy Building.
Barrington Street will be closed between George and Sackville Street beginning 7 p.m. Friday, June 9 and reopen 7 p.m. Sunday, June 11.
Prince Street will be closed between Argyle and Granville Streets beginning 7 p.m. Friday, June 9 and reopen 7 p.m. Sunday, June 11.
The weekend closure will ensure a safe, efficient and timely removal of the crane as well as minimize public disruption. Pedestrian access will be maintained to local businesses and all parking garages will be accessible.
