A River Ryan man has been jailed in Thailand after confessing to money laundering and customs violations related to a bank holdup in Singapore last July.
28 year old David James Roach has been sentenced to 14 months behind bars in Thailand. There’s no extradition treaty between Thailand and Singapore. So when he’s released he could be deported back to Canada. If Singapore officials want him, they will have to work out a deal with Canadian officials.
