Grabher case going to court next February

The provincial Supreme Court will hear the Grabher case February 1st.

Lorne Grabher’s personalized licence plate was revoked by the Registry of Motor Vehicles as socially unacceptable. Grabher has said his family is proud of its Austrian-German heritage and he shouldn’t face discrimination just because his name is unusual.

His lawyers will the plate’s removal violates the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
