A Salisbury Road church held its final Sunday service yesterday. Steeves Memorial United is closing after 78 years due to attendance and maintenance-cost issues. The Times & Transcript reports it’ll likely become a non-denominational wedding chapel, while the basement will still be available for community meetings.
