At 9:27 yesterday morning Lower Sackville RCMP responded to a call of a woman who had been hit by a truck near the side of the road on Cobequid Rd. The truck left the scene following the collision. The woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS. The RCMP later arrested the driver of a black tractor trailer (car hauler) regarding its possible involvement in the collision.
