Last night’s annual Premier’s Dinner signaled the end of business donations to New Brunswick political parties. The legislation to ban the practice took effect at midnight, after the $500-a-plate event at Casino New Brunswick in Moncton. It was passed a month ago but delayed to allow the Liberal fundraiser.
