The Restigouche Regional Service Commission plans to address the blocked road near the Matapedia Bridge and possibly install a new boat ramp in Charlo.
The Restigouche River Road between Mann’s Mountain and Dawsonville is closed due to slope collapse on the steep mountainside.
Mayor Denis McIntyre of Charlo told The Tribune he asked for and received a letter of support from the commission in the village’s quest to get a boat ramp installed near the village’s park on the Eel River Bar sandbar.
