Campbellton-Dalhousie MLA Donald Arseneault thinks that the city should make efforts to keep the Campbellton Tigers hockey team.
The city recently sent out a survey with its water bills asking home owners, but not renters; if Campbellton should continue to subsidize the team with public tax dollars.
Getting rid of the Tigers would save the city just over one hundred thousand dollars a year.
However, supporters of the team say the economic benefits are anywhere between 175 to 400 thousand dollars per year.
