A 13-year-old boy has been given two months’ house arrest and a year’s probation for robbery. The then-12-year-old admitted to robbing Second Avenue Convenience in February after his mom turned him in. During sentencing the judge told the boy he wasn’t sure the latter was taking the fallout seriously, but hoped he’d be proven wrong.
