The premier had a meeting in Saint John yesterday with New Brunswick’s special envoy on trade and softwood lumber. David Wilkins is also the former US ambassador to Canada, and helped resolve a similar dispute during his time in that role. His current one includes helping with lobbying, promoting provincial opportunities with America and providing strategic advice.
