A lot went wrong in airport crash

Investigators say there were many factors that contributed to the Air Canada crash at the Halifax Airport in 2015.

The Transportation Safety Board report took issue with the airline’s approach procedures, poor visibility in blizzard conditions and runway  lighting issues. 25 people were injured when the plane hit the ground 200 metres short of the runway, bounced and skidded to a halt. The report says they were injured because no emergency was expected and the passengers and crew were not in a brace position at the time of impact.
