The third annual N.B. Doctors Cycling Against Cancer fundraiser has set a goal of $55,000. From June 19 to June 23 the physician-led team of cyclists will ride 500 kilometers through the province to raise funds for Horizon Health Network’s Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic at The Moncton Hospital.
This year, donations will be used to purchase blood pressure monitors and a unit of leading-edge equipment that will enable early detection of cancer in the lymph nodes of breast cancer patients.
