New Waterford taxi case

One of the men charged in the holdup of a New Waterford taxi stand last fall has been found not guilty.

Judge Brian Williston found there was enough reasonable doubt in the case against 23 year old David Clifford MacLean-Devoe to acquit him on armed robbery and other charges.  The judge said there were too many frailities when it came to identification.

Another man is due to go to trial later this year.
